About serie of "Dans le monde de la cellule" (In The World of Cell)

Chinese art is a culture of nature. The landscape painting “Shan shui” has occupied for more than thousand years a place of choice in the Chinese culture. Even invisible, with thousand enlargements of a microscope, another form of nature exists. Cell is the complete form of individual life, is a self-universe, is the origin of life. In this work, transcend the eternity by the simplest element, every subject, is fathered by the origin.

DNA’s duplication, from one to thousand. Through paint brushes, Hong Wai express the energy of inner life, and the way of the revolution of universe.

For this series, artist HONG Wai received the Price of Paris Young talent 2005 of the visual art. The Mayor of Paris organised an exposure of his works in 2006.
